Utterly heartless and morally bankrupt.

Utterly heartless and morally bankrupt.

Dealing with PCM is like stepping into a Kafkaesque nightmare of bureaucracy, greed, and zero accountability (note the nameless letter correspondence). I can only imagine the kind of people drawn to work for such an organisation: joyless rule enforcers who seem to take pleasure in punishing honest mistakes rather than applying a shred of common sense or human decency.

These are not people guided by fairness or community spirit. They appear to be the type who measure success in how many lives they can inconvenience and how many hard-earned pounds they can siphon off through petty technicalities. How accomplished you will feel when reflecting on your death beds.

A valid permit, slightly obscured by no fault of my own, was all they needed to pounce. No dialogue. No logic. Just a soulless machine churning out fines with mechanical cruelty.

Avoid any business or property that uses PCM. The system, and those behind it, operates with cold indifference to fairness, context, or basic human compassion.

Money grabbing

Horrid company. My parking permit (which was on the windscreen) slipped down out of full view and they rejected my appeal on this basis. Anything to get money out of you.

Fined for parking in my own bay

Fined for parking in my own bay, as it seems many people have been. Appealed with evidence of my right to park there. Had to chase the appeal 2 weeks later via email (their phone lines are only open til 3pm). They then lied, and said the appeal response had been posted to me days earlier (it still hasn't been received, another full week later). The appeal was rejected but reduced from £60 to £20... they know there is no legal basis for the claim, but count on people not wanting to risk debt collectors/court, which is explicitly threatened in the appeal response. So from this experience, it seems like they are liars (about the appeal response letter) and chancers (by reducing the debt, but still trying to claw some money). Come to your own conclusion from the 700+ other 1 star reviews here and on Google.

Insist on parking scratch cards but don't issue them to tenants. Licence to print money. I'm not paying this one. I want my day in court this time. Absolute scum of a company

Heartless organisation

Disgusting organisation. I am a cancer patient which unfortunately has left me with lots of side effects. Parked their to visit Food Warehouse had to leave my wife there while I went to address one of my issues! Returned a few minutes later and we left, in total I spent 39 minutes parked there - 2 hours is the max, but they have issued me with a notice and £100 fine because I had returned within the no return time frame. My appeal was rejected despite evidence provided of my treatment and condition (stage 4 cancer) - heartless and diabolical organisation - wouldn't put it past them to chase my wife for the fine after I'm gone.

Deeply dissatisfied with the handling…

Deeply dissatisfied with the handling of my recent Parking Charge Notice appeal. I believe your company's conduct in this instance is unjust, unreasonable, and indicative of a broader issue in how PCNs are being issued and managed—particularly when your own systems fail.

When parking, I attempted to call the designated payment line to pay for my stay. However, the line was not going through, and after several attempts, it became evident that the system was either down or inactive. Given that it was a public holiday, I reasonably assumed that the payment system was temporarily suspended. This assumption was not made lightly, but rather in good faith based on the clear unavailability of your own service.

Despite this, I was issued a PCN shortly afterward. I appealed the charge and provided supporting evidence, including a record of my attempts to contact the payment line. I clearly demonstrated that I did not intend to avoid payment, and in fact, made a genuine effort to comply with your system. I also highlighted my previous prompt payment of a different PCN as evidence of my willingness to take responsibility when at fault.

Unfortunately, my appeal was dismissed without fair consideration of these exceptional circumstances. The fact that your own payment system was not operational—and yet you penalise drivers for failing to use it—is absurd and exploitative. It gives the impression that rather than ensuring a fair and accessible process, your goal is simply to profit from technical faults and customer confusion.

Start taking accountability for your system failure that leads to unfair charges. I will be escalating my complaint to the relevant regulatory bodies and consumer protection organisations, as I believe your handling of this matter borders on predatory behavior.

This kind of disregard for fairness only undermines public trust and reinforces the perception that your company is more interested in revenue than in upholding responsible and ethical parking enforcement.

Predatory, arrogant, and dismissive — avoid at all costs

This company is a textbook example of how private parking enforcement has become a lawless, parasitic industry.

I received PCNs while parked legally at my own home — with a tenancy agreement that explicitly gives me the right to park. I sent them proof. Their response? Ignore the evidence, demand irrelevant personal information, and hide behind a deliberately broken “appeals process” designed to exhaust people into giving up.

They don’t engage with facts, they don’t follow reason, and they certainly don’t care about lawful rights. They are arrogant, dismissive, and operating in bad faith.

Their behaviour borders on harassment, and they are hiding behind “process” to avoid accountability. If you’re a resident or tenant dealing with this company, know that your tenancy rights do override these cowboy tactics. Completely unacceptable.

Pcm thieves and frauds

watch out for scammers pcm this company should be punished with high compensation for defrauding money. I had a permit and they took a picture of me with the permit and wrote to me that it was a copy of the permit so I sent them insurance confirmation that I live there and it's not a copy of the permit so I bought a new permit. And they still want money from me 60f
so dear pcm you are thieves and frauds
Trustpilot maybe you should start doing something about it it's great that such a website was created, but you have to if pcm is cheating people and intimidating people start doing something trustpilot

INCOMPETENT ROBBING CORPORATE THIEVES

Sadly there is not an opportunity to rate ZERO STARS otherwise I would.

Never use a PCM car park. Horrid cretins. HOW companies like this are allowed to operate is beyond me!

Their signage is not clear, in my opinion, on purpose, so that they can rob the public blind of £100 (more than standard London Boroughs penalty charge fee, which is usually £40 - £60 maximum).

I paid for parking on the day in question and even took pictures of the parking notice - and was still fined. Because in PCM's small print, it says you have to be in a marked bay, even though, they are not clearly marked!!

PCM strategically place the parking bay codes above a parking spot that is "illegal", leading one to believe that you are indeed in a marked bay.

You can't call anyone or email anyone at PCM, so after two letters (hello, what century are we in?!?), it was clear the AI bot was not answering my poignant and specific questions.

I was handed to a debt collection agency where I still asked the same question, "could I please have proof of my so called violation?"

Only then, did a human give me an answer. Basically, pay it, otherwise it's going to get worse financially for you.

Choices are A) approach POPLA (time prohibitive and potentially more costly with debt collection fees racking up) B) pay the fine.

I don't use the word HATE very often but if you work at PCM, I truly and genuinely feel for you that you work for such a hated company. I hope you get paid well to waste people's precious time and precious money - and work for horrid humans.

I trust karma will come for PCM in the end. Our government certainly won't do anything about it (I suspect they're getting a backhander anyway).

Just hideous that companies like this are not held more accountable.

Over and out. Never again.

I just parked for a property viewing…

I just parked for a property viewing and left within 10-15 mins where agent failed to show me the entrance of the carpark or available parking space. No temporary unloading or loading parking space, visitor parking or pay on phone parking available in the property, where they intentionally issue PCN to cheat other monies.

Unfair Fine

Unfair Fine – Landlord Penalised for 10-Minute Visit!

Absolutely ridiculous experience. I’m the landlord of the property and, as required, the parking permit is issued to my tenant. I stopped by the property for less than 10 minutes to collect rent and was issued a £60 fine.

I explained this clearly in my appeal—yet it was dismissed without any consideration. I wasn't blocking anyone, I wasn’t abusing the system—I was fulfilling my responsibility as a landlord.

It feels like nothing more than a money-making scheme. The lack of flexibility or common sense is shocking. It’s about time the UK Government took action against these exploitative practices. Unless, of course, they’re getting a cut too…

Avoid at all costs. These companies need serious regulation.
