Subscription Service
I've subscribed to SodaStream Sparkling Cannisters exchange for several years. It's a great service and always on time. The website is easy to use allowing you to modify your renewal orders easily. I sometimes need the cannisters sooner than planned and can order them readily. I once had an issue where they stated they did not receive my returned cannisters and charged me for them. One phone call took care of the situation (they had an incorrect tracking number for my order). I snap a picture of my return package before I send them in and I had the tracking number. It was very easy to rectify. Plus Nina, the representative, was very easy to communicate with and she was efficient, professional and very helpful.

Website not great but customer service is helpful
The website can be difficult to navigate and there are spaces for information that would be helpful to have such as the date exchange received, tracking ID for the exchange, etc, but that information is not visible. Customer service is great though. They respond quickly and resolved my issue effectively.

I ordered on Feb 1
I ordered on Feb 1, 2026. I received a confirmation email, and an order number.
It said that it would take 15 business days to arrive.
I hadn't heard anything, so I decided to touch base today, after two weeks of hearing nothing, with no tracking updates.
The online chat function suggested my email and my order number were not valid.
I called - only to find out that this product is out of stock.
No updates. No advisement. Nothing that suggested it was out of stock on purchase, or after taking my money.
This is shocking. Sodastream is a massive company, and they couldn't let me know about this? I've been waiting two weeks, and we were really excited about getting this item.
We decided to purchase this item, and forgo some local sales that were on. So they cost us about $80 in opportunity cost there as well. We bought syrups and bottles and have invest over $200 into this. Only to be brutally let down by this experience.
I cannot believe how irresponsible this is. This is extremely poor customer experience. Shame on Sodastream. This is so disappointing.
But this is very unusual by any standard, especially from such a large company.
I've asked for a refund, but I want to be compensated for all of the time, the peripheral materials we invested in, and the opportunity costs in preparation. Although, I don't trust that I'll get my refund back, and I don't trust that they will read or respond to my outreach either.
I'm really shocked at this awful experience. I really am.

Up-trade from a legacy bubbler
We have a legacy bubbler - a Genesis - and were looking to trade up to a newer model of SodaStream, one that used glass bottles. Nelly at SodaStream was very helpful in arranging (and rearranging) a bundle to suit our needs, and gave us a great price, as well. We love our SodaStream!

Great products
Great products, savings and convenience plus much better for the environment! Have been using Sodastream for many years and especially like the diet tonic (which we can make up at home and keep in the fridge anytime). Easy CO2 cartridge exchange and easy ordering of mixers online. Very helpful support staff. Highly recommend not only for the actual product but as an end to the never ending shop / buy / use / recycle process for home beverages.
