I could have given zero star if it has…

I could have given zero star if it has the option. I have gone through several awkward situations with at least three regular suppliers because of this horrible system. Hope our company switches to a better procurement system soon.

CONSTANTLY FAILS

It CONSTANTLY fails. It takes several steps to open and print a PO, IF - IF things go smoothly. On average it takes over an hour to open & print a couple dozen POs. Need to refresh, dozens of times (hourly), constant "exception" failures, 404s, reports print with only half the data...
There is zero support. When we first met the Ariba team they promised to always have a person to speak with, that was just a ploy after a couple months the reality set in and one had to submit questions via the portal, that are Never responded to or acknowledged.
To add the insult of having to pay them a commission, makes my blood boil while they deliver such a HORRIBLE product!

How to kill supplier relationships

As a customer the onus is on us to labour through the tedious process. It does not make payment any easier or more fluid, just allows a greater delay and for a finance department to absolve themselves of all responsibility. I hate it.

Working on their product is like…

Working on their product is like smashing your head right against a solid wall!!! I don't know why they are still managing their legacy application which ideally should get deprecated ages before. It is very difficult to work on such an old project and lot of time & efforts will be consumed in doing the setup itself.

As a Buyer: Literally the Worst Software I Have Ever Used

I can only recommend this software for IT colleagues who wish to torture their buyers and suppliers:

-Horrendous user interface: makes me feel like a 90 year old grandma using the internet for the first time
- Zero logic behind its processes: designers obviously never actually worked in purchasing
- Massive amount of extra work and clicks to accomplish anything; we'd literally be more efficient using email

I cannot describe what I'd like to do to the loon who thought introducing this software to our company would be a good idea.

Highly Impressed with SAP FICO Course: Practical Learning with Excellent Support"

I recently took a SAP FICO course with jTrainings, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the training. The course material was well-structured and easy to understand, and the trainers were highly experienced and knowledgeable.

What I appreciated the most about jTrainings' SAP FICO course was the practical approach to learning. The trainers provided us with a range of real-world projects to work on, which allowed us to apply our newly acquired knowledge in a practical setting. This made the learning experience much more engaging and valuable.

Furthermore, the flexibility of the course delivery was a huge plus for me. As a busy professional, I appreciated the ability to learn at my own pace and on my own schedule. The online platform was easy to use, and the customer support team was always available to help with any questions or issues.

Pure trash.

Pure trash.

Whoever approves this software is either completely incompetent or corrupt.

The software is full of bugs. UX is horrendous and it takes ages to complete even the simplest of tasks.

I genuinely feel sorry for the companies who are using this mess.

Such a horrid portal to use for procurement events as a supplier. Password resets don't work, unable to log in or access event. Buyer not interested in problems and just points us in the direction of Ariba support.
Guess what? There is no Ariba support.

Tiresome Software

I cannot log in. No short cut in the email with the PO as the website suggests. Confusing terminology. No welcoming email with a link to set the account up as was promised. Just an expectation to watch a 50min video to learn how to send them an invoice. As previous person said it sucks the life out of you. I am in tears. Support non- existent. Found the account setup screen but will not accept the setup. When try to log in assuming I have an account, not password refresh sent, just some random cloud email address, which is nonsense. No email received by them is monitored should you reply to it.
If your supplier chooses to use this software, stop supplying to them. Seems to me its a way of extracting a service without paying you.

Not user-friendly - only for IT specialists - useless

Very difficult software with many features that just create the supplier's work harder.
You must be an IT specialist for understanding the problems in trying to log in the portal, but the problem is that this portal should be designed for sales and procurement people, not to IT Specialists.
Not user-friendly at all.

Old, arrogant and defensive!

OLD, obsolete technology sold to dummy users of the internet.

Unprofessional, arrogant and defensive staff when contacting them for any technical question. They respond with languages like the following:

"the issue is internal to you"
"work internally to fix the issue."
and sugar-coated with "Hope this answers your query."

Don't exercise any patience with customer, let alone walking the extra miles working collaboratively to help find solutions to issues raised. Sometimes, they don't even spend time to understand the issue raised. Have to repeatedly tell them the steps to replicate the issue.

AVOID!!!

A customer tried to get us to sign up to and use Ariba a few years ago in order to process POs and submit invoices. We declined at the time and continue to trade and exchange sales documents with them via email. However despite the fact that we have never used Ariba, every few months we receive "final demands" from them for invoices that are apparently being raised regularly for fees in relation to us "using their services". Trying to explain that we do not use Ariba and never have done is apparently too difficult for their staff to understand and I am sick and tired of having to send multiple emails every few months in an attempt to have the issue resolved. After reading all the negative reviews I am so glad we stood our ground and refused to use Ariba, however it would appear that even when you have nothing to do with them, it still causes you problems through no fault of your own! Absolutely terrible company!! Anyone considering using Ariba please take note - for your suppliers' sake, as well as your own!

It will suck the life out of you!

It's incredible to think that such a hideous piece of software can exist in 2023, but here we are. Forced to use it when a client switched over. I dread having to invoice them now. Ariba has sucked the life out of me on numerous occasions. It's like the intern threw form fields and buttons at a screen and left them wherever they landed. Shocking. If this is a profitable venture for SAP then there's no hope for the world. Anyone who actually chooses to use it needs their head testing.

Appalling portal in every way possible.

Appalling portal, multiple problems and errors, our suppliers submit PO all with differing requirements to upload invoices, the suppliers are not trained to raise correctly resulting in numerous errors before rectified. Having to use the portal to upload invoices is resulting in labor times costs to the client and delayed payment issues. Do not recommend and if a supplier ask you to use add cost to your services.

Horrible portal performance

Cannot even access invoices to be paid as invoice table is unavailable. This happens multiple times and it seems they don't want their clients to have to pay their suppliers. Portal performance is absolutely unacceptable. For a multi-billion company Ariba's performance, or serious lack thereof, is an absolute embarrassment.
