I agree it's a waste of time and energy. After more than 6 months we are still waiting for payment from our customer and the communication does not indicate a positive outcome.
Nothing good to say - amateur hour
There is nothing good to say about this company. Their system is beyond amateur hour. It never works, it's so slow it moves slower than a glacier, they keep changing the interface and making it worse, their UI is incomprehensible and their user experience has obviously been designed to irritate and annoy. The language they use is disgustingly unprofessional, they are incredibly rude and their customer service is so bad it's almost comical. Quite why companies use them I am at a loss to understand. If you are considering using these clowns, for the sake of your clients or colleagues, reconsider. They are one of the worst, most incapable and useless companies I have ever had the misfortune of using.

What a joke - these guys are brain-dead, they make things so unbelievably complicated so they can justify this complete ripoff of a service.Just look at their reviews!! GO AWAY!!!
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME
Totally agree with previous reviewers - it is a complete waste of time & totally confusing. Still waiting for payment 8 months later from our customer - and no closer to getting it
Absolutely shocking system
Absolutely shocking system! Why do clients use this? Is it cheap for them or something? We've been trying to complete a framework bid for over 2 weeks only to find that information we've uploaded/ saved has been wiped, sometimes even after scrolling back up or down it wipes information submitted. We've now been notified that it's having 'issues' and no one can access the tender to complete it and we're to await for further updates. It is by far the worst portal I've used and I think that most people who have clients through this portal should start to decline to use it so that clients know just how bad it is for us suppliers!

I'm so relieved I'm not alone and so many others think it is awful! It makes me feel unwell to even think about using it. Our clients dump this on us whether we want it or not and I have no idea how to use it, it seems to be a painful experience every time I go near it.
Worst ever IT software invented!!!!
This has to be the worst platform ever invented!! I guess they have really good sales people or are giving it away for free to companies, as it is not fit for purpose!!! We have clients who use this and we as supplier are forced into using it. I wish everyone would read the reviews on this as it really has to be the worst ever IT software that was made up by a bunch of drunk misfits who managed to get funding for it!! To do anything on it is too painful to describe. The process you have to go through just to print off a PO or invoice. This garbage should be in the bin, and the developers jailed for stealing peoples precious time! You have been warned. DO NOT EVER GO DOWN THIS ROUTE AND USE ARIBA SAP (short for S*%T and P#O)

Diabolical is the right description. I have used the program work for for over 7 years and I DREAD it every time. No one else at the office will touch it, and I cry half the time I have to use it.

Absolutely diabolical system! poor customer service and they WILL NOT let you complain. You can send them a feedback questionnaire which of course just goes in the bin!
They literally have you jumping through hoops to get your invoices through their system to be paid, and then there is no guarantee that will happen. I have worked in accounts for a long time and I have never come accross anything like it.
Another client uses a system called Coupa which is SOOOOOO much better.

If there was a zero star they would get it! Extremely bad costumer support. Impossible to get in contact with them. Impossible to unsubscribe any subscriptions made by false information by their "customer support".
Stay away from this company - cheaters and liers.
Ariba offers a terrible user experience for freelance workers
I had to be recognised as a valid supplier on Ariba before being able to work freelance for a British clothing company. Ariba has an unusable website and makes working for my client very difficult to the point where I'm considering not working for that client to avoid the headache of going through Ariba.
Really bad customer support.
Really bad customer support.. The person just hang up on me when she saw she did not know how to do. She even did not read the details of my request and ask me to repeat it. It was the first time that this happens to me.
I am still trying to change the administrator e-mail address. Nothing complicated.
On top of that, the website is not reliable and many issues happen during its use.
The worst website ever: AVOID
We invoiced a large company, which uses Ariba to pay its invoices. Six months later, we are still waiting, despite numerous unanswered emails, no visible telephone contact number, and a completely incomprehensible web site, which was interested only in our becoming its paying customer for some nebulous marketing ploy. Quite the worst navigating experience ever, and I, as a UK company chairman, strongly advise you not to go near them. Our customer is similarly disenchanted.
A con?
Was contacted TWICE by someone out of their Australian Office presenting the same potential generic requirement with 2 days to go to reply as long as I would subscribe hundreds of Dollars for the privilege. In the same e mail it was also mentioned that there was going to be an exhibition that we could attend. With the type of equipment mentioned no REAL customer would send this out with two days notice and not twice separated by several months.The person would not answer further questions. I can't give you the details here as the system will not allow it.
Now that sounds a Con by any other name and ruins the good name of SAP Ariba.
