Poor Service and Workmanship
I’ve used Eden Tyres twice. The second visit on the back of the first visit, being what I thought at the time, was a good experience. This has sadly been recently proven wrong.
I had 2 new Continental tyres fitted back in January/ February this year at ETS Market Harborough ….. excellent price, quick service, no issues (or so I thought).
On the back of the first visit I took the offer via the website to have a free brake check as I’d experienced some judder and wanted them checked out before approaching the garage that originally fitted the new discs and callipers 6 months previously so I could say that I had had an independent check done. The brake check was booked at 12.30 and I found myself still sitting in the waiting room 2 hours later and my car still exactly where I had parked it when I arrived at 12.15! No explanation for the chronic delay until I questioned the manager who had a lame excuse about an overrun on the BMW currently on one of the “lifts”. I made my excuses and remarked that there was not much point in making the appointment time if it as “fluid” as he was making out!!
So on to the next issue that has just arisen some 4/5 months after the fitting of the Continental tyres; that being a vibration in the car that appeared at around 60mph. Bearing in mind I do very little motorway driving (in fact barely 7000 miles a year), and we’d been through winter and maybe I had a buckled wheel or suspension damage from pot holes or similar, I hung on to investigate further until the annual service and asked my garage if they would have a look and see if there was anything obvious causing the vibration. Imagine my surprise when it turns out there were no “balancing weights” on either wheel that had had the new Continental tyres fitted to 4/5 months earlier at ETS!! Apparently it is not unheard of to have one wheel that doesn’t require any weights when being balanced, but 2? NO, not possible!! Maybe the age of the fitter (certainly under the age of 25) needs addressing and regular re-training put in place? The inside of both wheels were clean with no residual patches where any weights may have been fitted and subsequently lost so it is very safe to say, neither wheel was ever balanced when the new tyres were fitted. I know this now as my garage balanced the wheels with 10g on one side and 40g on the other. Vibration problems solved.
Pretty safe to say that I will not be using ETS for tyres in the future (or anything else for that matter)

Following a further review, we have now located your brake check appointment, which was booked for 12:10 pm. Our records also note that you explained the brake discs and callipers had been fitted elsewhere and that you wanted an independent inspection before returning to the original garage.
We are sorry that your vehicle was not inspected at the agreed time and that you were left waiting without a clear or timely explanation. Regardless of the work already taking place in the workshop, we should have kept you informed and given you a realistic indication of the delay. We apologise that this did not happen.
As the braking components had recently been fitted by another garage, any concerns with those parts would normally need to be referred back to the original installer. New parts and associated workmanship will generally be covered by the supplying garage’s warranty, allowing them the opportunity to inspect and rectify any issue. However, we appreciate that you had booked with us specifically to obtain an independent assessment and understand your frustration that the appointment did not go ahead as expected.
Regarding the vibration following the tyre fitting, we are sorry to hear that your garage subsequently identified a wheel-balancing issue. Had the vehicle been returned to us, we would have inspected the wheels and corrected any balancing concern without charge. We nevertheless recognise that you reasonably expected the work to have been completed correctly during your original visit.
We also want to reassure you that the age of a technician does not determine their competence. Our technicians are expected to follow the same fitting and quality-control procedures, and your comments will be reviewed with the Market Harborough branch to ensure the appropriate standards are being followed.
Please accept our apologies for the poor communication, inconvenience and loss of confidence caused by your experience.

Super friendly and professional
Just had two tyres fitted on my Evoque at the Coalville branch.
The staff were incredibly friendly and offered me a coffee as soon as I sat down, which was a nice touch.
It turned out the tracking also needed doing, and rather than just telling me it needed it, the engineer took the time to explain why. It was clear, honest advice with no pressure, which I really appreciated.
Great customer service from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend them.

Superb Customer Service
Tom York at Eden Tyre Services Burton on Trent ensured new tyres fitted to my older SLK on 23/07/2026 were 'spot on' and he listened to me before commencing work - I explained I am fussy on precise balancing and Tom put lots of effort in to make sure the tyres were completely to my satisfaction - further he checked the tracking and showed me it was 99% correct - but he didn't try to get me to pay for a tiny adjustment - he listened to the fact I only drove the car occasionally and as the removed tyres had worn evenly it wasn't worth that adjustment for me - how refreshing! No pressure, no attempts to add on services - my 'test drive' along the local dual carriageway showed Tom's efforts were spot on! Perfectly balanced! Thank You Tom and Eden Tyres - really appreciate it!

The service I received from the Chesterfield branch was exceptional. I called in with my son's car as he had a misfire issue just before his test. As they weren't busy at the time, they looked at it and fixed the issue within an hour.
