Very unprofessional, avoid it at all costs. I provided my full address to her as well as stood outside my door so she could see me. She did not show up when I called her said she could not find the place and just left didn't even have the decency to call, she then went on to complain about how she was walking around with a heavy bag struggling to find the house even though the house is easy to find and the full address was given. Save your time and money go to any one else.

Awful and unprofessional woman!

She didn’t bother to turn up and wasted my whole morning, and then had the audacity to claim she couldn’t find my doorbell.
Do not use her, I have just seen her horrendous reviews! My cat had a lucky escape!

What a horrid horrid little creature
I’d booked her previously under another name and her service was just atrocious. Said cats didn’t need bathing and used Vaseline to clean his face and brush his coat. No trimming or removing knots.
Booked again today and she was so rude because I asked if she would clean / brush my cats teeth (we got a dental brush and paste for his gum infection from vet) The silly woman was so derogatory, it was unbelievable. I told her exactly what I thought of her and promptly blocked her. What a nasty piece of work. Please avoid at all cost.

Excellent grooming for my two cats, she’s so friendly and caring towards my cats, ensuring they are at ease when she cleans them properly, I wouldn’t trust any other person, and she always makes them smell so clean and fresh after, would defo recommend to anyone who is looking for a mobile cat cleaner!!

Unlike some reviews this woman was polite to me, unfortunatly she was horrible to my poor cat and I forked out 90 quid for her to do so. my Persian is cautious around other people but loves being pampered and will purr like a baby when treated right as was case with groomer used in past. This woman threw him down on the workbench quickly shaving out not just most the knots ( not all) but all the fur so he now looks horrible. The horrific experience did not last long , originally was going to ask about cutting the claws but had she done that he probably be missing a few paws now! Then followed a long lecture on feeding him the wrong foods suggesting its my fault he had knots. Also a few racist commments thrown in for good measure.
Hours later my cat is still very nervous over what has happened and me very shaken.
Having seen all these other bad reviews now I feel so guilty for allowing this to happen. How she is aloud to continue is beyond me.

Phoned this lady (wish I hadn’t now I’ve read the reviews) and she booked me in for Thursday for three elderly cats. She didn’t bother turning up. I phoned her. She said I wasn’t booked in but appeared to know my postcode! She agreed to come at midday today (Sunday). Surprise surprise she again didn’t turn up. After reading these reviews I’m glad that she didn’t to be honest. She’s not being let anywhere near my cats now. They are far too precious to me for that. She clearly didn’t need the money that much and it would probably have been over £200 to groom all three, probably nearly £300. Ah well you win some you lose some. I won as she’s clearly incredibly unreliable m, a time waster and a crap business woman, and she lost a wad of money that I was perfectly prepared to give her had she shown up. I think I’m ahead in that one. Someone else can have it instead love. In fact I’ve found someone. Bye Felicia.

This lady is now doing business under the name Louise and The Travelling Cat Groomer. I thought she was Louise right up until she gave me her bank details and her details are for Katherine and The Mobile Cat groomer. Very worrying she is now doing business under another name as she is clearly aware her reputation under the former name has fallen to pieces.

Rude from even a text message, will be taking my business elsewhere for sure! P.S. read your review, surely it is not the way to run a business.

The worst woman Katherine Stevens stay away from her and keep your cat safe from her. She nearly gave my cat a heart attack she was awful awful awful. Such a wierd horrid person and experience. She needs to be stopped and reported to the police for her fraudulent claims of being experienced. Absolutely awful. Zero stars for sure. Stay away for the safety of your animal. I had such a dreadful experience she really stressed my cat out didn't do what she was supposed to do properly and took the full amount of money and then blamed me for my cats anxiety caus3d by her handling of him and shouting. Absolutely mad experience I had with her. Unreal.

One of the most extraordinary experiences that I've ever had with a "business" in my life. Our normal groomer moved away, so I found The Mobile Cat Groomer online. Like everyone else, I wish that I'd found these reviews before.

I'm afraid that Katherine is really bad at communicating and just fails at basic reading comprehension (e.g. telling me the price three times over, when I was simply asking her availability). This was a bit strange, but I persevered, as there is a heatwave on and I wanted my cats to be comfortable.

Katherine missed the first appointment, and when I contacted her, she claimed she thought I was booked for the following Saturday. So we rebooked for 8am in a week's time (and confirmed the date to be sure).

A week later, by 8:30 she was nowhere to be seen, so I left her a polite but firm message asking her to get back to me. She texted at 10:00 saying that she thought we were booked for the following Saturday (clearly forgetting that she had already used this excuse the week before, and despite us literally confirming the date the second time).

Anyway she then agreed that she would come "late afternoon" that day and she would text me when on her way. By 17:35, she still hadn't texted, so I asked when she was arriving - she immediately replied that she was en route but stuck in traffic. Two minutes later she texted again, asking me to remind her of my address, (despite apparently already being on the way).

Eventually she arrived, almost 11 hours after agreed, but not before giving me a pretty grouchy phone call about how she was lost, and how did anyone ever manage to find my flat (I live right on a main road, everyone else manages somehow).

After arriving, I buzzed her into the carpark and she didn't reappear. I went down and walked around the entire car park three times looking for her to no avail. I finally got through by phone, which she answered by shouting "I'M GOING HOME!!" and launching into a tirade, blaming me that I hadn't given her directions about how to get from the car park to my flat (I had texted directions to her an hour before, and there are also signs in the carpark).

Throughout the tantrum, she kept blaming me for booking her in London, repeatedly shouting that she's not from the city and doesn't normally take bookings in London (her website literally has a page saying she takes bookings all over London).

I'd assumed at first that she was a sweet older lady who liked grooming cats, but who struggled a bit with her diary and bookings etc. This may or may not be true. All I can say is in my experience, she came across as incredibly dysfunctional, dishonest and rude and that everything was always someone else's fault.

I can't say that I witnessed her handling cats roughly myself, as she never actually made it to our flat. However, based off the other reviews, this was probably a good thing.

My strong advice is to avoid this business: Even if it is urgent and no other groomer is available, it is better to just do it yourself.

Did not show at the agreed time. Disgusting attitude and rude from the start. Wish I had read other reviews before booking. Don't use them!

TERRIBLE! I called this lady about grooming my cat and we agreed on a time and date she was going to do it. She was rude on the phone, so from the get go I had concerns. Day before the appointment I sent her my address, no reply. Day of the appointment she never showed. I have called her and left messages and no reply. Very unprofessional

I was shocked at the behaviour of this woman. She spent 5 mins grooming and 20 mins talking about how she was an expert and the matting was purely diet. We feed our cat really good quality food, which she agreed with, so she ‘deduced’ that he must be getting food somewhere else. We kept him in for a week and when nothing changed she blamed something else. I was stunned when she started making very derogatory comments about some Asian clients she had just come from, effectively saying they are all the same, in full knowledge that my partner is Asian!! Thought we had left the 70s, as for her unsubtle hidden comments about Jewish people, I will leave you to use your imagination. She has a manner that is rude, abrupt, insulting, patronising and I cannot believe she is in business.
I booked a second appointment and she did not turn up - she cannot run a diary and as someone said- she never answers the phone.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!

There needs to be a zero score. Steer well clear of this absolute time waster. Messes about with the time she’s going to be there and then pulls up on the drive and then wheel spins off!

I was quoted £80 for a thorough groom and de matting, she was rude and rough with my 7 month old kitten, I’d had my kitten on a few weeks and was told by the old bag that his fur was matted due to what I had been feeding him, matting doesn’t happen within a week or two. She cut into his coat in random areas leaving patches everywhere so absolutely shocking performance from her - regret not reading these reviews before booking. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Should not even give one star! Came in and wanted to talk about the diet i was feeding my cat. Criticized how i took care of them and tried to wrongfully tell me to feed my cats RAW EGGS which is deadly to cats. she then began to scruff my cats neck and brush matt’s out very rough making my cat scream in pain! she did this to my other cat too. She bullied my partner into picking up and throwing my cats food away and to follow her feeding direction… i have a sick adult cat she’s been i’ll for a while and this lady has said to feed her once a day… this lady was unprofessional , didn’t take her time with the cats worked a small amount of time for a lot of money! Do not use her . i have reported her to the rspca for mistreatment of animals! you cannot rub matt’s out that vigorously and expect to get clients! Shame on you!!!! she also managed to put down single mothers etc very rude woman! avoid avoid avoid

Last year, I contacted this lady to groom my Maine Coon cat, that does not like to be touched....

Very poor communication...I put it on the fact that the lady might just be very busy, dealing with more difficult/aggressive cats...

I waited for her for hours....she could not find my address....I put it down on the fact that it was dark...

So, I had another go this year, this month...she did not reply yet. But happy that i found these reviews...

Maybe she is not in this business anymore and she does not know how to remove her website??

Question is: what do I do with my cat's increasingly matted fur? The cat is mostly fine to be brushed on her back; especially if she is asleep....but not tummy.

How to I groom her? :(

She is very strong...last time I managed to wash her, she was still a kitty and I wore special 'cover'...

still, I was bleeding on my neck :)

Any suggestions?

Wow I really wish I read these reviews before booking Katherine. I came across her website as I was in need a groomer for my two cats. I contacted her via email to which she responded to once about a quote, but when I emailed again asking availability I was left with no response for a couple days.

I should have taken this as a sign but I emailed again and she was quick to arrange a time for the next day. The morning of the appointment she emails me asking for my number and I emailed back the details and also asking what her preferred payment method was.

About an hour before the appointment I emailed again and tried to call the number on the website but I was met with nothing. Time of the appointment arrived and she was no where to seen and still no email and all my calls were ignored.

From reading some of the reviews it seems this is a common thing when booking her but I am glad she never got close to my cats. It’s just bad manners and rudeness the way she treats clients and I am quite appalled that she is representing her business this way.

Deeply regret not reading these reviews before. She quoted me 80£ for a thorough groom and de mat of my cat. Instead I had a 15 minutes brushing and de mat. She threw the fur on the floor of my kitchen without any attention. I asked to cut my cats nails and she said they’re fine. I asked a dry wash of my cat and she said she’s cleaning better herself and those products are just to smell nicely. I was then expecting a price reduction but no. I’m speechless and disappointed. The lady is quite knowledgeable of cats and gave some suggestions on food for my cat. Appreciated but doesn’t justify the price.

Does not know how to answer a phone or reply to a text it seems.
Just waited for 2 hours for her, I've messaged and rung her but nothing.
Should have just come on here, read the reviews and saved myself time!
