Does not know how to answer a phone or reply to a text it seems.
Just waited for 2 hours for her, I've messaged and rung her but nothing.
Should have just come on here, read the reviews and saved myself time!

Very rude! Wrote an email describing our cat and what we were after. Got a very abrupt reply saying she didn’t do our area and “feed him an additive free diet” 😲😲😲 if this is the way she treats her customers then I’m not letting her near my cat!

I called "Katherine" last week re: cutting our long-haired cat's fur and although Katherine answered the phone, she said she was driving at the time but she would cover St Neot's area. I pointed out that the area she covers is not stated on her website, but she did not say anything. She asked for me to text her our postcode and I did, also asking for the price, with no response. I chased her up and she eventually replied simply stating "22nd." I asked a second time for the price and she ignored me asking for my full address. She replied with three messages all repeating "booked" and nothing else (very similar to another lady in the reviews below). She did not offer a time for the booking and again no price. I was getting a little suspicious of this so I thought I would do a little further research and thank god I did.

I appreciate all the reviews on this site and hence why I am adding my own. Katherine was "rude" and became ever more elusive, avoiding the price at all costs. It sounds like she will say she covers any area to all customers and her website makes her sound as if she is amazing at what she does. I would strongly avoid at all costs.

My mum contacted this lady as we both have long haired cats that need regular grooming and our long-standing groomer retired. This lady said covered our area (Somerset) however my mum couldn’t coax much dialogue from her other than “booked” and “£85” so she cancelled.
Today, reading these reviews it seems others have had similar experiences and we were very lucky to think to cancel before she got her hands on our cats. Some of these reviews are absolutely heartbreaking on how she has been cruel. She needs reporting to the RSPCA and also seems like she is overpricing herself and then bullying money out of people in their homes who could be vulnerable.

Please read all the reviews. If you are thinking of using her … and you love your cat /DON’T use her. My 15 year old daughter grooms my cat better than she did. I’m just so cross I hadn’t done my research before using her.
She left my cat looking awful and still extremely matted … £80 later …
I am waiting for a receipt but she is refusing to give me one. Please avoid this rude unprofessional person to avoid disappointment and upset to your cat.

Awful communication and spoke very rude to me over text.

Very similar to what other people wrote I wish I found these reviews before. The lady is unreliable and rude. Really bad and unhelpful communication also. DO NOT RECOMMEND! AVOID!

Unbelievable ..she books an appointment at my house for 1pm yesterday ..I am at work ..she tells me she is running late...I explain I am 30 mins from home to let me know when she was on her way ...an hour later I tell her I am going home to wait for her..she says OK. Another hour still waiting ...I ask her what has happened where is she? She never replies just doesn't turn up!! Still today no response..How rude!!

Very strange experience with this ‘business’.

I called the number on the professional looking website and the message said to text your postcode to see if she covers your area.
I received very short messages to confirm she covers my area and to arrange an appointment, which was booked in with a time window of between 2-4pm.

The day of the appointment arrived and she didn’t show up. I messaged her to check she was still coming and had no response. I’ve heard nothing since and this was over a week ago.

Reading the below reviews and other websites reviews on this company, I think my beautiful rag dolls have had a lucky escape.

I’m in south Derbyshire and the business is registered in London, so why she said she covers my area is bizarre.

Also struggling to understand her Trustpilot score of 2.3 when 100% of reviewers have given a 1 star review?

I can only assume this is some kind of scam and would suggest you don’t waste your time.

Appalled by the state this person left my elderly cat in. I wanted to book a groomer that had been recommended by several people but they had no appointments this year, so unfortunately I booked this company. I wish I'd found these reviews earlier -- they don't come up when you Google her, strangely.

Like other people said, she didn't tell me the price or even a time, just "AM". On the day she texted a time and to be fair she was on time -- a bit early even. But she came in with no mask on, sat down and started berating me about what food I feed my cats (I run a shelter! The cat she was grooming is fed on vet-prescribed Royal Canin renal!!!!) and how it's the reason she's matted. Actually, no, she's matted because she's very old and can't reach her back half. Her front half is fine -- if it's the food, why doesn't she mat on the front half?

When I explained that she's on prescription food, this person told me never to trust vets and that they know nothing about nutrition (!!!), that she'd been "doing this 25 years" and therefore knows best, and that only British food is any good (yikes). She said vets have a financial interest in never curing pets' conditions so they can keep making money, which is the same line of BS I've heard from anti-vaxxers. In fact, she went on for ages about how great Facebook is (?!), so I can guess why she wasn't wearing a mask if that's where she gets her info.

She left my poor kitty in a right state. I had to hold her myself and the only equipment she had was a standard trimmer. She cut right down to the skin, completely uneven, and didn't even blend the edges in. I had to point out bits she'd missed, and then she said she couldn't do any more unless I left the heating on all night, because she once trimmed a cat who then DIED FROM THE COLD. What the hell????

I've used good groomers before at my previous home in London, and this was nothing like that. She didn't even clean up the fur, just brushed it onto my floor! The whole thing took her maybe 5 minutes and she charged me £65. If this awful hack job is all it takes to be a cat groomer, then I guess I'm a cat groomer, because I could have done better myself.

I will never use her again and feel horrendously guilty for what my poor cat looks like now.

It's worth noting that currently, the only positive review on Google Reviews is by 'Katherine Stevens' -- that's her own name. Didn't even have the sense to use a fake one. Incredible.

Please DO NOT get your cat groomed by this horrible woman!! First of all she turned up around an hour late. She was rough with my elderly cat (20+ years old) left her patchy. She literally shoved her on the kitchen table on her back! Brushed her so roughly. Moaned at me for feeding her the wrong food!! She was just over all nasty, she didn’t even cut or clean around her private’s which is disgusting and left her with some mats.
I wish I had read these previous reviews before choosing her to cut my cats hair.
Her website seemed very caring towards elderly cats but she WAS HORRIBLE.
Don’t be fooled by this heartless person.
And she happily took £70 for 20 mins time
Please don’t use her, she may harm someone’s cat. My cat was traumatised.
There will 100% be kinder and caring cat groomers out there.

This woman is absolutely awful. She arrived, then put my cat on my kitchen work top ( very unhygienic) forcibly held her down ( with my assistance). It was really traumatising, for both me and Poppy. She handled Poppy so roughly, stressing her so much, that my poor cat urinated. Clipped her in about 10 minutes in total, with no attempt to groom her gently, and brushed her so roughly. She then left all Poppy’s fur on the floor and walked out, charging me £70 for the privilege. Absolutely shocking!!!

She came in without a mask shouting at me that we don't love cats and they shed hair because I don't feed them the right food. She did my cats on the kitchen counter when i was expecting a van and confronted her she started shouting that us foreigners don't understand British people (and other very racist comments). Asked me to hold the cats and shouted at me the whole time. She took £80 pet cat for a really really bad job! my cats looks awful and unfinished but really I gave her the money because I was scared she might do something. DO NOT RECOMMEND!AVOID!

She was just so rude. Abrupt and slow to respond over email. Thirty minutes late. Came into the house without a mask. Told us off for ages for not feeding the cat the right food, got me to hold the cat down on our kitchen island, shaved some bits off her and swept them on to the floor, said our dog lacked discipline, took £60 and left. I said I’d tried various diets for the cat and she said “no you haven’t”. All in all she was there for about ten minutes or less, most of which was spent condescending to us and rolling her eyes. As she closed the door my son exclaimed “well, SHE was nice.”

Wouldn’t book her again if she paid me. I can run clippers over my own cat, make a mess, and disparage myself over my own pet raising abilities, thank you very much.

DO NOT USE this groomer. She is nothing like the nicely worded and designed website. She is rough, rude and not interested in the cat's comfort. She overcharges, as well.
