Very poor delivery service failure to come on agreed day and never does second order messed up with them and a don’t care attitude towards the problams, had to collect my self then two days later it arrived on a lorry and was turned away. Good prices let down by clown delivery service

First order of paint at £145 on August 17th wasn’t available to collect despite notification it was, but still can’t be found and apparently can’t be refunded until it’s found! Ordered it again to collect from another store and again wasn’t there and no update, but apparently running late with no notice. £400 worth of orders, none arrived and now £1400 worth of aborted weekend decorators costs!! They can assess compensation “when the orders arrive” whenever that might be!! Totally useless

We saw a great product that we wanted for our home. We ordered it, paid on the spot and early delivery was arranged straight away. The delivery was exactly as promised, courier putting the item in our selected place.

Bought white laminate sheets at various sizes all required cutting to specific lengths which were done onsite at B&Q. very please with attitude and responce of staff.

Placed order, email confirmations and relatively quick delivery of some parts. 3 doors in 2 sizes ordered, 3 different sized doors turn up, phone call number one - took a week to get the correct sized door then another 2 weeks to collect the incorrect door (was tempted to charge storage fees!) - That was one part of the order - Other part was 3 radiators and tails - 2 rads turn up, great! After a week (now past the delivery date) I get a call - out of stock of rad tails (Still showing in stock on their website, go figure!) - no worries I'll get them elsewhere just refund me and deliver the 3rd rad already, wait another 2 or 3 days, finally turns up. Damaged! Luckily local store had one in stock to exchange it with. All in all not great. These materials were all for the same job that I then had to delay twice, annoying that customer and a few others as I had to move other works around. Big companies seem to forget that smaller companies rely on the information and delivery dates being given are accurate. No skin off your nose if you deliver a week late. An absolute pain in the ass if you're working to the dates provided. I even gave myself 4 days breathing room to allow for late deliveries but damn I didn't expect this poor show ! Basically in the end after, in total about a month (Order 24th Jul, Door collected 20th Aug), the job got done and the incorrect materials got collected ! - Also where are my VAT receipts for half the items ? Can't download them on the website and they haven't been emailed - Pretty important paperwork to just not send out !

I was able to buy the products that I needed for my repairs. I must say I shopped with my plumber who knew what we needed, thankfully, because it was difficult to find someone to help one to locate the products

The product was advertised but no stores near me(within 70 miles) stocked it. I phoned the B&Q tradepoint helpline and was told that there was no stock in the country. I stated that two stores said that they had stock but was categorically told that this was not the case. I phoned one of the stores and got them to check their physical stock level before ordering and paying by click and collect. The store could not accept payment so I had to ring a helpline to pay. I phoned several times over two days only to be met with a recorded message stating that the service was unavailable and to try later.
I finally found an unlisted number and was able to pay the invoice total.
What type of company runs in this fashion? It's as if they do not wish to sell anything. Apparently the product was not available for delivery and neither could they be transferred between stores.
Absolutely appalling overall.
The only saving grace was that the people in the physical store were extremely helpful. Thank you to the staff of Cambridge B&Q (apart from the person who served me when I went to collect my purchase who I thought was mute for some time, and appeared as though he was there under severe protest. I think a smile would have cracked his face. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name, fortunately for him I suppose).
