Walmart Canada Data Breach

Walmart Canada failed to secure my personal information. They allowed my walmart.ca account to be hijacked and credit card info stolen. As a result, fraudulent charges were applied to my card. They were advised of the activity while the charges were still pending. I was told they would cancel the charges and they would not go through on my card. The next day they called and advised the charges were not cancelled. Walmart does not protect your data. DO NOT TRUST WALMART CANADA!!!!

I ordered an item online at a…

I ordered an item online at a discounted price and chose free delivery, as the estimated delivery time was just one day later. However, it never arrived even after a week. I noticed the same item was available in-store, but the price was $70 higher than what I paid online.
When I called customer service, they couldn’t tell me when my order would be delivered. Instead, they suggested that I cancel the online order, purchase the item in-store at the higher price, and assured me they would refund the price difference. I followed their instructions, but when I called back to request the refund, they claimed there was no record of my case — not even with the reference number and the agent’s name.
This is completely unacceptable. The company showed no integrity and left me feeling deceived.

I'd rate a zero if I could!

If I could rate a zero, I would! I ordered an item and my payment was taken. A couple of days later I was told it was canceled. Almost a month later and 10 emails and phone calls later, I'm still waiting to get my money back. Walmart online customer service is a joke... but not the funny kind! Beware, unless you want huge hassles and to get ripped off, never order anything from Walmart Canada online!

Won't refund my online order

Signed up with an account to use their app and order groceries online. They replaced my garlic ($0.79) with something 10x more expensive. When I requested a refund $8.75, they only gave me $0.70 cents back. I have been calling customer service since. First person said they issued the refund. Another month went by, no refund. Had to call repeatedly—and no resolution. Will never use their app or order online again. The refund should have been automatic.

I made the mistake of buying something third party from Walmart. I did call before I purchased and asked if I could return it and they said yes. Had to go through the seller twice with him offering me discounts and then when I was told I could return it to my nearest Walmart the customer service employee, Edna at the Emerald Hills, Sherwood Park Walmart was really not cut out to be a Customer Service person. She was texting on her phone when I got there and seemed annoyed that she had to help me at all. She also stopped what she was doing with me to check an incoming text. Wow, times have really changed.

Walmart only hires dullards.

I had ordered a queen size sheet set and they sent me a double size instead. I had to return them by UPS. I reordered and they did the same thing, sent the wrong size.
Apparently they only hire dullards who can't read.

They have never stock

They have never stock! They let you buy an in stock product, pay for it, and then they inform you by email that the product is out of stock! Meanwhile you waisted your time and energy and they get benefits of your money in their pockets!

False Information on Tracking Details.

I was waiting for an Order that was supposed to be delivered to the Spruce Grove store on Sept 15. The tracking details stated that it was delivered at 11:59 am on Sept 15 and received by an employee named Shawna; however, 3 days later Spruce Grove store says they do not have it. Phoned customer service who confirmed that Walmart Spruce Grove did not have the parcel. Stated that the "third party" delivery service had entered false information on the Walmart website regarding the status. Initially, they wanted me to contact the delivery service but I told them that it was their responsibility to do this not mine. I also questioned the "integrity" of the infomation on the tracking details on their website and/or the thrid party delivery service they use. Manager agreed to help but the parcel appears to be in never never land ???

reality is different

They have good prices and online advertising, but the reality is completely different. I bought some household items and clothes for my child. After 1 month of waiting, they said the items were lost. The same situation happened to my friend.

Big store, big letdown

Went to Walmart today and left really disappointed. Shelves were messy, staff seemed rushed and unhelpful, and the checkout took forever. Not what I expected from such a big store.

Walmart’s online customer service is Baaaaaad

Walmart’s online customer service is absolutely terrible. The representatives are unprofessional, inexperienced, and clearly not trained to handle even the simplest issues. Communication is frustrating, some agents can’t even speak proper English, which makes it impossible to resolve problems. Instead of helping, they read from scripts, transfer you around, and waste your time without providing any real solutions.

I expected better from such a large company, but Walmart’s online support is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. They need to invest in training, accountability, and staff who can actually communicate with customers. Until then, I will avoid shopping online with Walmart.

Missing items, drivers steal bags of food

It’s over priced. But willing to pay for convenience. You never get what you ask for and missing items like crazy. Because of this you can’t depend on it. 3 times in a row we have had to go to store to finish buying the list to make dinner. How can such a big company have zero ability to do this correctly. Tbh - it use to be much better service but now I might even have bags missing. The biggest issue for me is you tip a % of your bill but if you end up missing a bag or two of grocery, their tip becomes much higher if the total value. Corrupt and Im done with the service now. Might check out somewhere else and just stop shopping here.

Walmart doesn't want to give me my money back. the order didn't come on time and still pending. this is one week after. In the store they told me they can't cancel the order. they took my money and I didn't get eh produce. this the worst online store.
