Terrible Experience with Walmart Mastercard
I had an extremely frustrating experience with the Walmart Mastercard and cannot recommend it to anyone.
The biggest issue? There’s no dedicated mobile app to make payments. Every single time I need to pay my bill, I’m forced to log in to the online platform — which is inconvenient and feels outdated.
Worse — my account gets locked constantly. Every time that happens, I have to call customer service, wait on hold, and spend at least 20 minutes just to get my account unlocked. It’s exhausting.
Today was the final straw. I had a $10 credit in my account and simply asked for a refund. The representatives couldn’t help me — they kept transferring me between departments, offering no real solution. And then, without warning or explanation, they closed my Walmart account.
Customer service was unhelpful, disorganized, and clearly not empowered to resolve basic issues.
This has been one of the worst financial experiences I’ve ever had. If you value your time, peace of mind, and decent customer support — avoid the Walmart Mastercard.
I hope Walmart and Capital One take this seriously and fix:
✅ A real payment app
✅ Fewer unnecessary account lockouts
✅ Trained, empowered customer service
✅ Basic refund processing
Until then — I’m done.

Sold as new, received a demo unit with degraded battery
I bought a Google Pixel 7 listed as “Brand New Factory Unlocked” but received a Retail Demo Unit locked in demo mode with a badly worn battery.
I even applied my own tempered glass thinking it was new, only to discover it was unusable.
Walmart support just forwarded my case to the seller, so I’m left waiting. Very misleading and frustrating experience.

Worst place to order online . They are scammers, placed my order paid almost $400 but their system screwed up and put a random delivery address. I have been contacting them over and over not able to help . One passing to other. Walmart customer service is awful

FALSE ADVERTISING: SAYS 2 CURTAINS, BUT YOU ONLY GET ONE! My item's description is clear that there are 2 curtains included. I ordered two items, so 4 curtains. The order just came in and there is ONLY 1 curtain in each package, not TWO. It's not a packing error, as the packaging I received clearly states that there is only ONE curtain in each item. I will return them tomorrow and will never order through Walmart again. (This was my first time.)

Walmart does not stand behind a sales contract they make. If you order something to meet their min order of 35 and they send you incorrect items, they want to return the product to receive credit which is okay but they want you to reorder instead of replacing goods. Thus they have not completed the contact and forces you to order more to receive the free shipping. Very poor customer service

I ordered George's Cream (2 x 450g) for $35.99. At least that was what was advertised online at the time.
I used to buy this product at Superstore for $!4.99, a few years ago, but they discontinued it.
So when I saw the offer on Walmart's website, I thought it was a Good offer. However, I have since discovered that the website now advertises the same offer for $59,99!! And I have been Charged $63.03 on my credit card.
However, Costco has the same offer for $34.99!
To make matters worse, I found that customer service was not helpful. I was told that I was charged $68.03!! Which was incorrect. They pointed out that I had received an email with the charge, however, I was so busy I did not noe; My fault. To make matters worse Walmart Canada no longer does price match!
Overall, a Terrible experience!! I would NOT recommend using Walmart online shopping At All!!

an extreme disappointment with my recent order experience. I placed an order for the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro through Walmart Canada, completed the payment successfully, and was expecting to pick it up in time for an important trip with my daughter.
To my frustration, I received a message stating that my order was cancelled—claiming that I had cancelled it, which is absolutely not true. And that was after 3 days come on guys I never requested any cancellation. This was a product I specifically planned to use during our upcoming trip, and now I am left without the camera I paid for and promised my daughter we would use. She is very upset, and this has turned what was supposed to be an exciting experience into a stressful and disappointing one.
What makes this situation even more unacceptable is that I was not given any clear explanation or alternative solution. Instead, my order was simply cancelled, leaving me without the product I paid for and no assistance in securing another unit in time.
This is not the level of service I expect from a company like DJI and Walmart.
Problems with Walmart shipping …
I seem to keep ordering from Walmart online and it’s the third time that the boxes shipped are damaged. The first time was for a pellet bbq and the shelf has a major dent which is hard to bend. The second time hopefully the product inside was fine but this time it was a chicken coop automatic door opener that I wanted at a specific time but it was broken by shipping. I got a survey to rate Walmart but my review was rejected twice because I mentioned shipping. How hard is it to ship parcels and I see now from the reviews here that they have a very low rating. So annoying and you can’t even voice your opinion on their site.
Great BBQ but poor costumer service
Ordered before 5pm and supposed to be pick up ready same day before 11pm. Never got the confirmation email till next day around 11:30am. Asked Walmart responsable for pick ups about the delay and he said is normal for te to skip all pick ups orders in the afternoon for next day 😳😳. Either Walmart is laying on his website or the associate of s not doing their jobs right. Even I could ask for a compensation for the delay never asked because I don’t trusting the process or whatever they have to say. Other than that BBQ is amazing and does the job perfectly.

I logged in when I arrived at the Edson Alberta walmart.at 1:31... and again at 1:40 ...the msg said I had 2 orders...and then I spoke to a man and was told they were backed up...2nd car got their groceries...I stopped the guy and asked where my order was...he said he didn't have anything...and he would go and check...he came out with a box which was from a previous order...and I asked where my groceries were, he said he didn't have anything ... I told him to just cancel my order. I had waited over 1/2 hour...I live out of town and plan for the things I need to do so I only make one trip...I have tried to do the pre check in and each time it gives me a msf that I should try again.

Worst experience of my entire lifetime. I must parrot other ripped off Canadian who 100% correctly warns, "Walmart online customer care can not help you. They are only there to add delay after delay hoping you will give up and let them keep your money. Visit the nearest store if you can. They share the name Walmart but it's a completely different experience. Most important and this is for everyone. Remove your payment information and delete your online Walmart account immediately. I didn't listen to the warnings and here I am warning others. :(" Same exhaustion shitshow for us too. NEVER use Walmart Online, at all.

Bought a TRU Kettle, it went faulty after 30 days, wallmart says they can't help after 30 days and I can try google to find the distributor.
would 100% recommend not purchasing electronics / appliances from Walmart if you need repairs or replacements after 30 - 90 days.

I ordered a backpack it was supposed to be her on Aug 13 its now Aug 17 and its still not here we called on the 14 they said wait 24 to 48 hrs we will get back to you still nothing they said its coming from a 3rd party but we still went through Walmart to get it so they should know about are delivery but they don't know whats going on so I'm stressing Not know if my child will have there backpack before school and there not helping me and on top of that they were rude and talking so fast that I couldn’t even get the number down without having to ask 5 times to slow down
Update: we called 1hr ago to see if we can find information about are delivery and they said again we will let you know in 24 to 48 hrs so we said no we want to cancel our order we said we can't take the chance of it not coming on time for school and we have been getting the run around and not getting information they said we can't cancel out order because it passed the cancellation time so don't order online from Walmart we should have learned our lesson when This already happened to us twice.
