I bought an alarm box but it would not pair up with my system so i sent it back. This was over 2 weeks ago and they havent refunded me despite many phone calls and emails each time telling me the refund would be with me Friday. Its Friday and still no refund they originally said i would get it four days ago, its a different excuse every time i just want my money back.

Ordered a 3 star lock,which was more expensive than competitors, expecting good quality and good service. The lock was a poor fit despite being the correct measurements inside and out for our door. I returned the lock via their complicated system and having tracked the parcel I saw when it was received by Yale. 16 days later I still had no refund! Their online information says it takes 5 days to 2 weeks to process a refund. When I contacted them online it said my query was closed! I phoned the next day to enquire after my refund. First person was not able to help so I agreed to a call back. They sent an email saying that they had now received the lock ( funny that! It was delivered to them 17 days earlier) and it would take 5 - 7 more days for a refund. Their email also said it can take up to 3 weeks from sending a return to get a refund. I for one did not see this on their information!
Buyer beware - poor quality and “couldn’t care less” customer service!

Very rare to find this level of customer service these days. I messed up my order, but Sean from customer support handled it brilliantly. The whole issue was cleared up in a matter of minutes and a new replacement was dispatched immediately. Absolutely brilliant service. The product arrived and it is remarkably robust, well made, and secure. Highly recommended.

Had to post on here for the fact that we've had two alarm systems now from Yale, I must first state the the quality of the pir and door sensors has gone right down the pan since the old gen that plugged into the phone line. The smart range of devices have flimsy delicate hooks for clipping together and poor strength for the battery compartment too.

That aside, I've just contacted them regarding a system that we've had for a long time, well out of warranty but recently the hub disconnected so couldn't be used with the app. I tried a number of things to try and reconnect it, rebooted it, rebooted the router, switched the internal battery off and on again, reinstalled the app, none of which worked, so I contacted customer care. They confirmed the hub was no longer connected, whilst this isn't ground breaking, the fact they're still replying to support mails for products beyond warranty I have to applaud. This additional information allowed me to start digging further which lead me to the source of the problem (a crashed switch). A few days later they're emailing to check that everything is ok and that the issue is solved. Impressive customer care that is sadly getting more and more rare. Highly recommended and still an advocate 16 years after our first system. Spookily was just singing it's praise to a work colleague when the follow up email came through.

I dealt with Sean, I had a problem with my keys he sorted it out straight away, great communication. I had made a mistake in ordering and they were really supportive. When ordering check the name of your keys

I made an order on Sunday evening which arrived first thing Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, I had made a slight error in the ordering and upon contacting the customer service for advice I was passed on to Sean who sorted the problem very quickly, offered a more than acceptable solution and was extremely courteous and polite in his communication.

I'm a locksmith and have been in the business for 23 years. I can honestly say that Yale products are amongst the poorest quality you can buy. The only decent items they sell are their nightlatch cylinders.

I only supply Yale products when the customer stipulates a like for like replacement and always advise against this where possible. Over the last 5 or 6 years, I've only had about a half a dozen call backs on items I have supplied and they have all (apart from one) been Yale products.

Apparently their shoddy service also applies to their online business as well...

I had a call from a young lady who had been awoken one night by someone trying to fish for her door key, through her letterbox. I found a high security (not Yale brand) TS008 letterplate set on the yalehome.co.uk website, which was marked 1-2 days delivery, so I ordered one. When it still hadn't arrived after 5 days, I rang them to find out why. I was told that the product was out of stock and wouldn't be available until April..! ****ING APRIL..!! 5 MONTHS..!!!

I cancelled the order and had to find another supplier, (who stated 3-5 days delivery) so now, because of Yale's pathetic service, this young lady and her 2 children, will have been terrified every night, in their own beds, for almost 2 weeks..!

Take it from a professional in the security industry - if you see anything marked with the Yale brand, just move on and look for something else - it's likely that you'll find a superior quality product or service, for less money and with far less hassle..!

I’ve bought Yale, locks, cameras, solar panels and video doorbells. All have been fine. Then I bought an additional camera, which was delivered defective (no battery life).Yale’s customer service is diabolical. Declining responsibility and doing everything possible to avoid responsibility for their failure. Very poor service I advise against purchasing products from a company that has no customer loyalty and denies responsibility for their failings.

Wonderful service! We misplaced a safe key, and the support staff were quick to respond and to arrange a replacement for us. Highly recommend.

I ordered 3 replacement keys & they were delivered very quickly. Unfortunately they did not work so I contacted the Customer Service Department straight away. They replied within 24 hours & after a couple of emails it was established that the error was all mine. I ordered the wrong type of key. However, Cameron (from customer services) was very polite, despite my stupid mistake, & offered to replace the keys as a good will gesture. Now that's what I call excellent customer service! I ordered some spare keys and was sent the wrong ones, probably my fault. Contacted Yale customer service and they sorted me out some new keys, gratis. Thanks Cameron for your help and a speedy resolution.

Great to deal with a company that still values customer service and you can deal with an actual person. Had an issue with an order (my own fault), a customer advisor called Sean sorted it out and within minutes it was resolved with a replacement product sent out straight away. Can't fault them. Also the product itself is very high quality, robust and secure.

Customer service was excellent. Francesca and Cameron really helped and got my keys sent out straight away.

I lost the keys to my safe and contacted Yale for a replacement key. The safe was bought years ago but without much hassle they were able to resolve the issue for me quickly and easily! Thanks to Sean for providing superb customer service!

I cannot praise Yale enough for their excellent customer service. They arranged for a replacement key to be sent out incredibly quickly, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free.
