Do not purchase from this company, I purchased £135 or clothing , they rip off other companies pictures/ send I pile of shit , then give you I correct postal information.
My order cost £36 and taking a restock cost- to send back only for customs to not accept it stating information provide incorrect that was provided by the company I will leave this to my bank to deal with 1 star is not even worthy.

Scam company
Ordered sandals which where not leather as described and they didn't even have a proper buckle on them so unable to wear them. They want them returned to china at my cost for a full refund, despite an address in UK on the parcel packaging. Their website is now not accessible anymore.

I ordered a pair of red Mary Jane shoes size 42. I received a pair of burgundy Mary Jane shoes size 41.
Now I understand this is yet another bloody Chinese company masquerading as English. I cannot find an address to return them I also understand it is not worth the bother because it will cost a fortune & they will probably deny receiving them safely. Be warned, do not buy from China!

When will I learn
I am sorry to say that I also have to leave a similar review to most of the other ones, I ordered my husband a Milano Polo shirt for best part of £30, waited 17 days for the item and was very disappointed with the product, it really wasn't worth a tenner of my money let alone what I paid,I couldn't believe the absolute nonsense with returning items, and looking at the advert one is led to believe that it is a UK company, but yet again it is a Chinese outfit with cheap shoddy goods at over inflated prices, I am expecting to get the same reply as everyone else has received word for word, if you read them they are all the same. Before I bought this polo shirt I looked on trustpilot but couldn't find the company, I was missing out the - between York and fashion, if I had seen all the reviews I wouldn't have touched the company with a barge pole.

Beware of this company
Beware of this company. Returns are at your own expense to China with an added admin charge making it extremely expensive. I ended up with a garment far too small and no sensible way to return it.

The company sent the wrong sandals and…
The company sent the wrong sandals and the quality isn’t what I expected. Despite numerous email exchanges regarding their returns policy, which stated that customers who change their mind or want to exchange are responsible for costs to return the item to China, insisted that if I wanted to return the item I would be responsible for costs!
The company need to ensure that their customer service is fully up to speed with their policy to ensure customers aren’t left out of pocket for their mistake. I’m left with sandals I won’t wear and out of pocket. Very poor company.

Be very c areful of this company that pretends to be UK based but is a warehouse in China. I ordered three items of clothing on June 19th 2026. They were of very poor, thin quality fabric and awful colours, unlike the photos. York Fashion's refund policy is you can return goods within 30 days. They don't say that returns have to go to China and cost a lot. I paid £25. I returned all three items within 3 days using tracked postage. I still have no refund. They argue that my items are in Customs and it's up to me to get them out. This company does not give you accurate information, and they have not given me the refund which according to their policy they should do. Be very careful ordering anything from them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I googled for a type of shoe in my browser and this company showed up along with legit shoe retailers with pictures of what I was looking for. I stupidly assumed that they’re legit because of the company of other retailers. Sold themselves as a British based retailer.
So I ordered what was pictured and described as ‘genuine leather’ mules. During checkout I got a pop-up offer for a second pair of mules (different style) for a deep discount. I added them on. Total was in British pounds- £97. Over $165 cdn.
What arrived from China were very cheap plastic shoes bound up tightly - no boxes and squashed in a plastic mailer bag. Worse was the smell of the shoes. Strong plastic-chemical smell. Just awful. Trying to get a refund. Stay away from York-Fashion.

Items took 3 weeks to come, none of them fitted and I was offered 10% refund or return to China at my own expense plus 15% restock charge which was not declared at point of order. I would not order from this company again

Absolutely shocking company
Absolutely shocking company. Total scam. Acting illegally. I am protected under uk consumer law in respect of returns and the way they are lawfully required to behave. The returns must be at their cost and you have 14 days for a full refund. I tired to cancel within 2 days of ordering when their items were still in their warehouse. They refused. they are based in china. Not Belgium as they falsely claim. They lie and will refuse to say why they are illegally acting against uk law. They will offer 10% return and then 35% return. What a huge mistake. I will be reporting them to trading standards.
Having received a reply to my original review I feel it necessary to say more. We have contacted their customer services 20 times and each time they have failed to reply to the question “under UK regulations we are entitled to a full refund and do not have to pay postage, therefore the offer of 35% refund is against the regulations so what are you going to do to give us a full refund?” The answer is nothing. The original receipt came from Tracey in London, the first email from Belgium then the rest from china. My wife rang the day after ordering the product and said she didn’t need it and as it was still at the warehouse then they didn’t need to send it. Sounds simple doesn’t it but they said it had to be sent from china, then returned and examined by them and then a 10% refund with us paying the postage. This company is a scam and you should avoid at all costs. I’m not going to waste more time contacting them, they know our details and if they want to refund us then they know how to do it (somehow I doubt they will)! Sadly I can’t give a zero star rating, it’s a shame in this day and age that companies can’t be honest and reputable to their customers

This review is factual based on my actual experience. The company claims to be headquartered in the UK. It operates out of Belgium. I ordered the leather fisherman's sandals. They came from China via a fulfillment house in Feltham, and did not resemble the picture, the quality, heel and materials were not as stated. As soon as I ordered I was asked to provide a review in return for a 50% refund on my purchase. I immediately asked to cancel my order as I was suspicious. I was told that despite the fact the order was yet to be dispatched that this was not possible. The shoes took a long time to arrive from China and were not as advertised. I asked for a refund and contrary to the Consumer Rights act, this was denied, and instead I was offered a 30% refund or paying £30 to ship back to China. I also note that the company operates a locking code to prevent you from finding the original advert online or on their website to compare your goods with those advertised. All in all I would not shop from them again, but others may have had a different experience.

Do not buy from this company…
I bought a pair of shoes from York fashion that looked far better quality on their website than in reality! They were too wide for me and made of cheap materials and so I wanted to send them back and get a full refund. Unfortunately I was told they would rather I didn’t do that as they don’t have an address in the UK and the only address I can send it to obviously at my own expense is China! Alternatively I was offered a partial refund of 15% which amounts to £5 and I can keep the shoes!! This is such a con! Please do not buy from this company…..website looks a lot better quality than they are!

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible, my partner bought a shirt from them, the description said Denim, the shirt was some weird nylon material, nothing at all like the photo or the description of the item. So completely miss sold. Then they want to charge ‘admin fee’ and to pay for the return. He refused this and was offered 15% refund and he could keep the item. Of course he doesn’t want to keep it. The item received was not the item in the photo. He will be persuading a full refund and if he doesn’t get a satisfactory outcome he will be opening up a case with the Trading Standards Agency. It seems judging by many of these reviews, many people are receiving the same treatment. Absolutely disgusting customer service! And they seem to be getting away with it with many many customers!

Chinese tat posing as a UK clothing…
Chinese tat posing as a UK clothing store. They sent me 2 shirts, 100% Polyester, so thin you can see right through them, but also don't breath so I can't even wear them with a cotton unershirt. They offer returns so long as you are willing to pay for shiping back to China, customs and a 15% resocking fee! Don't get conned like I did.

Stay away from this company, awful experience
Stay away from this company. I ordered shoes and boots totalling £93, when I got them they looked cheap and nothing like the photos on their website. When I processed the return they informed me they were from China and to save ‘environmental cost’ I could receive a 15% refund or pay to return them myself! As a single parent, I needed the full amount returned so had to pay a further £20 to return the products to China. They were released from customs in China on 18th July and I have still not received any money back from them. Stay away! They never inform you that their products are from China before you buy them and their after sales customer service is non existent. My order was in April and it is now September
Well it’s October and despite promises of a refund in 5-7 days (3 weeks ago) and an apology that a ‘technical issue with the payment system’ has caused an ‘unexpected delay’ I STILL haven’t received my refund!
