I ordered some bits for my kitchen on 18th December. It's now 9th January and I have had no communication except a receipt by email and a follow up email asking me to leave a review. I've called countless times, left messages, emailed and absolutely zero response. It's completely slowing down my kitchens progress and is forcing me to live in a building site. I'm so annoyed and I expect to be compensated.

Ordered a Rebus transformer during the Xmas - New Year week and it arrived quickly, immediately after New Year. Excellent service.

Having placed an order for LED light bulbs online on 19 December, together with next day delivery, I was concerned when they had not arrived several days later. I had received email confirmation of my fully paid order and an invoice. My credit card account shows the full amount having been taken, then refunded two days later. I have received no explanation whatever. The items ordered were shown as 'in stock' on the website. An odd way to do business and a waste of my time.

Came really quickly so was very pleased. What's nice is that the shop is an independent….and presumably pays it's taxes Britain!

Intact and as far as I can tell in working order.
Had to collect from post office as Royal mail won't leave with neighbours etc. My choice as I chose the lower cost delivery.

Cant really comment when the product hasn't arrived yet - just hope it does as been over a week!

Lamp Post were unable to fulfil my internet order as the item ordered was no longer being manufactured They refunded my payment promptly.

However they did not notify me that they could not fulfil the order and I only found out when I phoned them a week after placing the order.

A wasted week !

Best price. Prompt delivery. No problems

No follow up on order status, just a first email confirmation of order being received and paid.Waited seven days so far,no idea where order is ,I will wait until conclusion to whether I use this company again.

Ordered a programmer for next day fedex delivery last week - still not delivered.

Called the contact number - disconnected.

Emailed to complain - no response.

Avoid.

Tried to make an order on the phone but man was impatient and did not want to help me. If you are going to sell electrical items online please have the decency and patience to help and assist your customers.

Annoyingly sent to my invoice address (not delivery address), and no response to email query.

Nevertheless, great price, well packaged, prompt.

Ordered two room thermostats over the Internet - price £79. Their site advertised free delivery on orders over £75.00 but site would not remove delivery charge. In the end it was of no consequence since the items never arrived. When I rang six days later I was told they were never sent because they "could not source them" and they claimed to have emailed me to that effect and reimbursed me but the only email received was the original invoice and I have yet to find the record of the financial transactions. I will not use them again

My initial order was cancelled due to items continually being damaged in transit, but it allowed me to order them off the website.. The total order was cancelled but failed to inform the customer. Only when I asked where my order was was I told that it had been cancelled. They renewed the order without the offending items and offered free next day delivery.

Would not have a problem ordering again, but they need to be better communicators.

Big disappointment here as the website was okay and prices cheap. But the delivery was so slow and communication very poor. They need to pull their socks up at the Lamp post,

Ordered a lamp from the site. Really easy website to use and it was delivered promptly. Would highly recommend this service.

Difficult to rate my experience; I placed an order on a Monday, hoping for delivery in the next couple of days. When I had heard nothing by Wednesday (I was hoping for a tracking number or something), I contacted via the website to ask if my order had been shipped, as I really needed it by Friday. Within the hour I received notification from PayPal (that's how I'd paid for the order) that I had received a full refund, but I received no communication from Lamp Post Electrical at all.

So, quick refund which was acceptable, but no communication, which was not.

I purchased from these guys as part of an order for work, few sockets, some light switches, usual stuff. The order process was quick and clean, and I could navigate the site really easily. After ordering, I got a confirmation email, and my stuff was sent to me. 2 days later (baring in mind it was standard delivery) the items arrived.

Fantastic Service!

I ordered chrome socket and switches. I ordered Monday at 12 and they arrived Tuesday. Telephone service was spot on. Great 5 stars
