We had a very bad experience with two other companies. We went onto Trust pilot to look at their reviews and they was extremely good.
So we decided to go with them, our agent was David Hill, very professional throughout, along with all the other guys in the office.
We found them to be completely honest and transparent.
We would highly recommend this company, thank you David for all of your help.

Good local knowledge
very attentive service tailored to the specific needs of the client
Simon has been very helpful with the sale of my property in Hook, particularly as I live abroad now. He kept me updated with progress at every turn and helped with jobs that I couldn't do myself. He checked on the property when the cold weather arrived for example and made sure the heating was working. Nothing was too much trouble.

Outstanding
Simon Dredge (Branch Manager) was exceptional right from the start. From superb photos and marketing, to the viewings, which resulted in an offer being made only 2 days after the house went on the market.
Sadly, the process took much longer than any of us could have envisaged, due to various unforeseen circumstances. Simon was extremely proactive and diligent. He also kept me regularly informed (far better than my solicitor!)and the sale was completed at the end of July.
I highly recommend him and his team in the Hook branch.

Happy I chose Mackenzie Smith to sell the property. Simon managed the sale of the property in a professional and calm way. He was always available to answer questions, and give advice when needed. Great Service
From the initial valuation to the completion of our late mother’s property, this was made very easy at a very distressing time. The McKenzie Team took care of all the viewings following up with updates from potential buyers. Once we were under offer the team kept us updated regularly and also kept our buyer updated as well. Towards the end of the sale Justin from the team liaised with both sets of solicitors to ensure exchange and completion went smoothly. The McKenzie Team also very kindly read the meters on the completion day. We would not hesitate to recommend Mckenzie Smith.

Thank you for your review. As we were the third agent searching for a buyer for your property, I gave a great deal of thought to how we could present your home in the very best light.
I felt it was important to use professional photography, as bespoke images truly speak a thousand words. Including a drone shot meant that we could show off the property's position in a small development, within a rural setting and surrounded by acres of open fields, yet still being conveniently close to the Hog’s Back and Guildford town centre. Premium-listing the property with "no chain" also helped. It was all about knowing what marketing your property needed to gain the attention it deserved!

A thorough service especially once under offer
We decided to go with Mackenzie Smith for the sale of our property, after some stiff competition from other estate agents who promised higher values to get our business. MS took great care in explaining values for the area and for our house; but moreover how they are very thorough in checking potential buyers and managing the whole chain. This turned out to be very true - with good communication from our agent (Nick Kirby); who was in touch with the agents and solicitors for the whole of the chain. It all went smoothly and he was right on the valuation.
