Had a screw in rear tyre popped in first thing in the morning no appointment booked and the lovely staff helped me sort my puncher 20 minutes later walked out with a fully repaired tyre great service. All staff very friendly.

Came yesterday for a tracking on my van…
Came yesterday for a tracking on my van the technician stated that this cannot be performed as the drivers side track rod was ceased and In wouldn't do it trying to get me to pay for a new one. I went to another well known tyre shop today a was able to do it. Stop employing unless workers that don't have a clue what they are doing. This is not the first time. Trying to get more money out of broken british public

We are disappointed to read your review and strongly refute the suggestion that our team was attempting to obtain more money from you as you were not charged for any alignment works.
Following an inspection, our technician found that the driver’s side track rod was seized and therefore advised against proceeding with the wheel alignment, as forcing the component could have caused damage. This was our professional assessment at the time, made with the condition of your vehicle in mind.
For clarity, you were not charged for the inspection or the advice provided. We have every confidence in the competence and integrity of our team, and we do not consider your comments regarding our staff to be fair or accurate.
We hope this clarifies our position in the matter.

Great service from start to finish
Great service from start to finish. I dealt with Callum at the Lichfield branch and he was attentive, knowledgeable and kept me updated throughout, from ordering the tyres through to completing the alignment.
Everything was sorted the same day with no hassle at all. Top guy and genuinely excellent service.
Would definitely recommend.

Usually
take my car to Swadlincote branch who are brilliant tbf. Took it to Burton this time , bear in mind I had serviced the day before mot , mot op could not even start my car ok , I reset the alarm and showed him where the keyless start key was. Failed the test on an inner boot and the hand brake!! bearing in mind the hand break was fine on arrival, was assessed at 15% !! so I hand a new hand break fitted and had the brakes inner boot etc etc , took it back this morning for a pre booked 10:30 retest , Sat for over 1 hour before the retest. Retest conducted by same test engineer who again failed the hand brake and stated it was only 15% efficient , this perplexed me , so I asked how could it still be 15% after a hand break replacement done by a trusted local garage with 40 years experience. Manager got in the car and tried to drive the car forward with hand break applied , did not move an inch. So they failed the mot again and advised that I would have to pay again !! even if I bought it back today ? yes. I asked manager if they could help with any adjustment , no it will be a rebook needed. So I asked what the tolerance on the auto road machine was set at ?? he did not know , but advised the pass requirement was 50%. I told the manager I would be lodging a complaint and he said there was nothing more he could do, manager was very professional and polite at all times. Took my car back to where repair was carried out and he advised that the car was set up correctly and parked on a steep incline , car did not move. He thinks the calibration on ets test machine may be faulty. Ets did both mot and retest on same station , not sure if that’s the only one but if it was to make sure why did he not ask me to get a second test at the Swad branch. To cut a long story short I took my car to a registered mot test station who passed the hand brake , no advisory on it , no adjustments were made . I
I have had my car 16 years and have had it serviced yearly. Just wonder what Burton ETS failure rate is compared to swadlincote ? Just a heads up , I will be reporting my issues to ETS and Vosa and raising my concerns. My business in future will go somewhere else.

My car had a full service which was easy to book online. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful and explained the results of the service on collection. I'd have no hesitation recommending the Ashby-de-la-Zouch branch. They already have a great reputation which is well deserved.
