First thing really is I can’t fault the team who came out to do the first clean at all, however, I can’t say the same for the company in general.

I signed up with a canvasser in June 2026, the fact I could skip cleans by just logging in was the main pull. After sign up, I logged onto the website and the schedule of cleans is blank. On the 30th June in the evening, a text pings in for a clean the next day. All fine as I wanted to see how they got on and to be fair to the lads, they did a good job. We’re now on the 25th July, there’s still no schedule showing for me and I’ve still not had a payment taken for the first clean, I’ve used a contact us form, sent an email on the 14th July and have sent another today. I’ve had no response prior to today and not holding hope Yourlocal will respond to today’s email.

Customer service is poor and you have to ask if your customers should REALLY have to chase to get a payment to you. YourLocal, you have been provided notice to cancel the account on the 14th July 2026, yet my account is still active (I’ve pressed Cancel and it said someone would be in contact). I’ve emailed you again today 25th July 2026 and will again choose to Cancel my account on your website.

It’s a shame for the teams who go out and do the job, they’re the only reason you have two stars.

I've been trying to cancel my grandmother's windows since june by text and email but they still keep billing me and ignoring my emails

The last couple of months I have had Michael Spencer clean my windows on a monthly basis. Michael has always been professional and has always provided a great service.
My windows are always cleaned well and I have never had any issues.

Finally managed to cancel our windows after months of trying and them never turning up when they said they would. Don't recommend this company at all.

So signed up for 'window cleaning' for £14 for a 2 bed... theyve came along today to clean me windows... the fella doesnt even have a ladder.. just an extendable brush with just water.. no soap nothing, scuubs up and down couple times onto the next window, no drying so left with water spots once its dried. Local window cleaner charges 10 quid for my property, they get up to the windows scrub & then squeegee them so they're bone dry... youse are taking the p1ss just using water and not drying.. canceled and you wont be getting the 14 quid. Rain does the same job as these scam artist.

Cleaning is well performed & on time however the billing system is appalling.
Since beginning my contract I have always paid by bank transfer on the day of the clean not the link from the text however this is NEVER checked before repeated reminders indicating non payment are sent, not a good way to deal with paying customers.

Joshua made the sign up really easy,and explained everything well,he was super friendly and polite.

Fantastic service from Joshua as always. Extremely polite, always contacts you when he is coming out and once the job is completed. A great asset to the company! And is honestly why I have continued using this service.

Iv been getting my windows cleaned for a good few month now from Michael Spencer , 10/10 everytime .. I have 3 children and the mucky finger marks / ball marks that they leave daily are always gone once cleaned!
